A. Topics of Proposed Action Resolutions for presentation, discussion and collective decision:

1. Plans for voters' education for a Green Constituency, especially before candidates start campaigning, to contribute to active stakeholdership through principled suffrage and assertion of public accountability.

2. Information and lobby campaign at local levels for LGU political will and action vs. JPEPA coverage of their localities.

3. Information and lobby campaign at local levels to thwart / punish reelectionist congress members who support pro-BNPP bill.

4. Active encouragement of strengthening Green Entrepreneurship, by supporting and strengthening the GreenShoppe Network that has been set up by the WED-Phils. Secretariat, in cooperation with NEPA (for "Tangkilikan" system and quality standardization) and CCTI for consumer support and ethics in enterprise,

5. Strengthening of the integration of the three advocacies (safe food, healthy environment, and sustainable economy) among all community-based and sectoral organizations.

6. Strengthening of barangay- and municipality-based green formations, like the Green Brigades, Ginikanan para sa Kalikasan, and at the scope of the city/municipality. Green Families and Communities Network (GFCN).

7. Preparations for starting by the end of this year satellite "Kamayan"-type regular forums in Batangas City, in other former national sites, and in all areas with capability.

8. Formalization, short of SEC registration, of the nationwide GFCN to be the more stable formation to handle the annual WED commemorations.

(Advance-registered participants of the Annual Assembly, whether or not attending the face-to-safe Plenary Session on June 7, are encouraged to suggest specifics, and to comment on specifics suggested by the others,)

B. Choice of National Site of WED 2010

   The nominees are all sites in the Visayas: Catarman, Northern Samar; Bacolod City; Iloilo City

On-line Advanced REGISTRATION

Step 1:  Deposit P100 in the bank account indicated below, and copy very carefully all the data in the deposit slip.

Step 2: Fill up the Registration Form below  (be very careful in copying the data from the deposit slip) and submit by clicking at 'send.'  (This amount shall be considered a donation to the event and will not be refunded for reason of non-attendance.)

Step 3: Go to Batangas City (preferably via Star toll highway) and keep your ticket if going by bus. At the CENRO office at the Batangas City Hall, identify yourself as a WED participant and  present your I.D., present your bus ticket to claim your reimbursement, get your bus fare for the trip back to Metro Manila, claim your WED Annual Assembly kit, and get your ID for billeting.

Step 3: Go by tricycle to Days Hotel (near SM-Batangas) and check in as a hotel guest (bill for billeting is sponsored by the Batangas City LGU). 

 

Direct Registration

Step 1: Get your Registration Form from the CENRO office at the Batangas City Hall  (In the afternoon of June 7, Registration will shift to the Annual Assembly venue (Sangguniang Panglungsod session hall), where forms and reimbursements will be available.

Step 2: Accomplish fully the Registration Form and submit it together with the P100 registration fee for participation in the June 7 Annual Assembly.


Participation in the Annual Assembly

Only the duly-registered participants will be eligible to present and/or oppose proposed resolutions during the pre-assembly (on-line) or during the assembly-proper (face-to-face). 

The registration fee may be paid up to the time of entry to the Assembly venue, but free transportation and accommodations pass may only be received after making such payment, resulting in a waiver of this privilege in going to Batangas.
